TRAFFIC SURVEYS
Count of vehicles, by up to ten categories, at all types of road junction. This includes all classification of roads from secondary roads to motorways [multi lane surveys].
CAR PARK SURVEYS
Car Park surveys to determine accumulation and length of stay of each vehicle. These surveys have been undertaken at many supermarket, retail outlets and hospitals throughout the UK.
ORIGIN & DESTINATION SURVEYS
To determine vehicle movements through a roadway system by licence plate recognition. This could be useful in determining which route customers travel to a busy Sunday market for example, to assess if residential routes are used.
PEDESTRIAN/CYCLE MOVEMENT SURVEYS
Footpath surveys. Various town pedestrian movement counts categorised by groups. Retail store and Retail Park customer movements.
VEHICLE SPEED SURVEYS
Measurement of vehicle speeds by handheld radar device. Vehicle speeds recorded over the required survey timescale, usually off peak hours 10:00 –14:00.
PARKING BEAT SURVEYS
Vehicle parking surveys, around a designated street pattern logging number of vehicles in a set parking zone or recording length of stay of each vehicle parked. Parking surveys are conducted throughout a 24hr period if required and over several days.
QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEYS
We are competent at working inside store and outside, ie roadside interviews. Examples of some of the results achieved by such surveys:
- To determine customer shopping patterns.
- To determine customer travel routes to destination.
- To determine method and mode of arrival at Retail outlets.
- To determine Retail Staff arrival and work patterns.
